Our new business venture is a dream that has developed over many years. I qualified in 1997 as an animal behaviourist (ch MACC) from the Institute for Animal Care Education, Ascot, Berkshire and have bred, trained and owned animals all my life. Currently I am studying cat psychology and cat First Aid to offer as much support as possible to our guests.
Church Farm Cattery is situated five metres from our family home and nestles in the beautiful village of Horwood near Newton Tracey.
Situated away from the road it is the perfect place for your cat to unwind and enjoy its holiday. Our cattery is CIEH approved and is built using the only cat pen accepted by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health for newly built cat boarding establishments.
We have deliberately kept our cattery small so we can give all our guests the attention they need.

Welcome To Bwlchgwyn Cattery
We are a family-run cattery established in 2004. Situated in the village of Bwlchgwyn, just off the A 525 and 5 miles northwest of Wrexham, our cattery is within easy reach of the North Wales coast, Cheshire and Shropshire via the A 55/A 550 and A 483. Recently, cats have arrived from Dubai, Aberystwyth, Bala, London and Tattenhall to name just a few places.

Licensed by Wrexham County Council for up to 36 cats, the cattery has runs with viewing platforms, garden chairs and scratch posts. Classed as semi-outdoor, the units have a heated indoor sleeping accommodation with a run viewing outside which can be aired according to the weather.

All of our units conform to the current guidance with a 6’x4’ run as a minimum. We have several 6’x5’ units and one 6’x6’ unit which can be joined to a 6’x4’ unit.

Cats must be fully vaccinated for cat flu and feline enteritis, with up-to-date boosters. Public liability, and cat veterinary insurance for up to £1500 per cat is provided by Brookes Braithwaite under Petplan and other insurers. Pre-existing health issues may not be insured and in these circumstances payment will be due on collection.

Established in 2017 Rachel at Castle Cattery has had over 40 years experience looking after cats. Achieving Level 3 Award in Feline Care, Behaviour and Welfare.
Your cats can enjoy a safe, clean stress free stay, where even the shyest of visitors will settle in well. Ensuring the highest standards are maintained.
Castle Cattery guests must bring an up to date vaccination certificate with them and be treated for fleas and worms. Only cats from the same household can share a unit.
Castle Cattery has five units with one adjoining unit where another cat from the same family can share. They have a heated sleeping area (pet cassette in each unit with a thermostatic temperature with an inbuilt cut-out), and an adjoining run, which is South facing where they can sit and sunbathe and watch the world go by.
Naturally there is a convenient litter tray and a bowl of food and/or biscuits, fresh water and a scratching post in each unit. Also fold down external shutters that can be used according to the weather.
Castle Cattery has a separate kitchen to provide storage and preparation of food and medicines, a Reception room where we can give you and your cat/cats a warm welcome..
There is an Isolation unit which is situated 6 metres away from the main Cattery. All surfaces and materials used can be easily cleaned and disinfected (we use a hospital grade cat safe disinfectant) thus minimising the risk of passing on disease.

Fronfelen Cattery is a modern, purpose-built cattery, which has been constructed to the highest standards. Situated outside the village of Llangeitho, we are easily reachable from Tregaron, Aberystwyth and Aberaeron.

Cwm Cou Cattery is a well established boarding cattery, run by Paul and Linda, consisting of 14 chalets. It is licensed by the local authority, regularly inspected and has a local registered veterinary surgeon on call. We are happy to take in elderly or diabetic cats and we will take the greatest care of your much loved pet.
Owners are very welcome to inspect the premises prior to boarding their cats but please telephone for an appointment beforehand.
Prices include certain types of food, litter, and a bed with fleecy lining and food bowls. The owner should provide any prescribed medications; administration of these is included in the price. All cats in our care are covered by insurance.

Barnhill Cattery is a luxury built cattery set in the peaceful countryside of North Ayrshire. We have created a calm and tranquil environment to ensure our cat guests will enjoy their stay.

The Romanno Purrfect Palace cattery is run by Jennie Gilchrist who along with her love of horses has a huge passion for our wonderful feline friends.Alongside the cattery she runs her award winning equine stud which has been operating for nearly 20 years. Who Are We ? This journey started for me in 2004 when two gorgeous, but somewhat troubled kittens, came into my life. Holly first, there was a message on the company intranet to say that there was a kitten that no-one wanted, she had been homed for 4 x weeks but the owners didn't want to keep her, my heart went out to her. So I took her home that night, stopping to get supplies. When we got home she disappeared behind the washing machine for 3 x days! She has had issues all her life but is mellowing over time with love and support.
Then came Monty, what I thought was a ginger boy kitten to grow up to protect Holly. However a few weeks after the Vet had checked Monty out I discovered what I thought was a rash and so went back to the Vet, only to be told that my boy kitten was in fact a girl! She already knew her name and so Monty she stayed. Monty is my ‘shadow’ and is a very loving and affection cat.

Headholme Cattery is fully licensed by Arun District Council and inspected annually.
Our cattery provides housing of various sizes that are separately heated to cater for all customers, young and old. We are an experienced husband and wife team caring for our customers 24 hours a day and live on site ensuring everyone is looked after to a high standard. We provide a wide selection of quality foods, i.e. Burns, James Wellbeloved etc. but we do not give raw food.
We can with prior arrangement collect and return cats to their home for a small charge to cover petrol.
