Established in 2017 Rachel at Castle Cattery has had over 40 years experience looking after cats. Achieving Level 3 Award in Feline Care, Behaviour and Welfare.
Your cats can enjoy a safe, clean stress free stay, where even the shyest of visitors will settle in well. Ensuring the highest standards are maintained.
Castle Cattery guests must bring an up to date vaccination certificate with them and be treated for fleas and worms. Only cats from the same household can share a unit.
Castle Cattery has five units with one adjoining unit where another cat from the same family can share. They have a heated sleeping area (pet cassette in each unit with a thermostatic temperature with an inbuilt cut-out), and an adjoining run, which is South facing where they can sit and sunbathe and watch the world go by.
Naturally there is a convenient litter tray and a bowl of food and/or biscuits, fresh water and a scratching post in each unit. Also fold down external shutters that can be used according to the weather.
Castle Cattery has a separate kitchen to provide storage and preparation of food and medicines, a Reception room where we can give you and your cat/cats a warm welcome..
There is an Isolation unit which is situated 6 metres away from the main Cattery. All surfaces and materials used can be easily cleaned and disinfected (we use a hospital grade cat safe disinfectant) thus minimising the risk of passing on disease.
